Paul Mecurio

Out of the blue, I recently started getting e-mails from Paul Mecurio, promoting his upcoming appearances and providing news updates about his comedy career. I've never signed up for his mailing list and I wonder how he got my address. Does anyone else here get these e-mails from Paul Mecurio? As you may know, he is (or was?) the warm-up comedian for WWTBAM, keeping the studio audiences interested and enthusiastic during the tapings. I wonder if this is just an odd coincidence, or if he somehow got hold of a list of WWTBAM fans or past contestants. Any thoughts?

Yes, I do, but only because I requested them.

Perhaps his mailing list doesn't require confirmation and a "friend" signed you up?

I don't get his e-mail, but he is still the warm-up guy for SyndieBAM (at least through the end of the 2008 season).
