Unfrickinbelievable

We had about 1 foot of snow fall overnight, and more is expected today. Victoria is not prepared for this. We very rarely have any snow at all.
If we have that much again overnight, it will not clear for a long time, and Big J and I are supposed to go to my parents house for Wed and Thurs. They are in a very rural area though, so it is not looking good for getting there right now
On the other hand, the city buses are sort of running, so I'll be able to get to work on Mon and Tues. Important, as there are only three of us who will be able to get in to answer the phones.
When you have shut in seniors and disabled, they need to access services. I'll get in, no matter what, as I can still walk and they can't.

You are an angel on earth. Okay, you're an angel with a sometimes-salty vocabulary, but an angel nevertheless. May you have a wonderful Christmas, no matter where you end up spending the holiday.

I ain't no angel LOL, but I know that they depend on us. For some, it is just having a voice on the phone, as they are all alone. I try to think what I would want if I was in that position. Even when they are complaining, we all try to be nice and find them some help.
As for Christmas, well I have all Big J's presents here, we have a stove and a grocery store two blocks away, so I'll be able to cook a chicken or something if need be.

Snow sucks.
I hope you weather it warmly and don't have to walk to work. Yikes.

Hence the angel label.

Welcome back to being a part of the
real Canada!
I'm sorry if that's going to mess up your holiday plans.
The main part of today's storm has moved out to the east of us. It looks like there's one more patch of snow out in western NY, but we're actually seeing some sunshine at the moment!

Call yourself what you want...I still tip my hat to you.
Okay - maybe not today; I have no desire to freeze my scalp...

Hope it all works out for the best, however that may be. Keeping the fingers crossed for you...

Where's that global warming when you need it?! A foot on the ground here in Oregon too. I'm going skiing out my front door.

If I had any energy, I would set up Ford Frick as an MM.

Be careful. I do hope you can make it to your parents for Christmas. If not,
it will be one you and Big J have for memories.
Still thinks it's spring here, although they say it's gonna get in the 20's tonight, I don't believe it.
Forecast shows high Weds- Saturday 70 - 72. The flowers will be blooming soon if it keeps
this up.

It was snowing like crazy at the Seattle game. I assume that wasn't a good thing for you.
Wishing you clear roads and a Happy Christmas.

The weather people are already talking about the NEXT storm that is supposed to come on Tuesday/Christmas Eve and dump up to 10 inches MORE on top of the stuff we've already got. The warmest we're supposed to get is 36 degrees on Friday with rain-on top of all the snow, that will be messy.
I want Kay's 70 degree weather-NOW!!!!
