a 2 parter dealing with Jesus and early christianity.
I wasnt expecting them to teach me anything, as I have seen many similar programs.
But they did.

One thing has stuck in my noodle

The Irish theology prof from DePaul said that the biggest difference between Jesus and previous jewish preachers(he mentioned John the baptist) was that Jesus taught that doing good works consistently as well as maintaining ones faith in the face of Evil and Oppression can transform the world.
Previously, it was believed that the only deliverance of the Just and Smiting of the Evil could be done by God's hand (like in the Left behind books).Ordinary people were powerless to change their circumstances.
