To me, this is the most important part of the article:

"All seven occupants were thrown from the vehicle. No one was wearing a seat belt, police said."

IMO, auto insurance companies should be allowed to cut your medical coverage from accidents in half if the police accident investigation finds that you weren't wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. You are at least as responsible for your excess injuries as the person who caused the accident.

Between 6:40 and 6:50 this morning, Maddie received 3 text messages. She didn't have unlimited texting and I told her not to text when she got her phone, but we get charged if anyone texts her.

She received 30 text messages yesterday.

I switched her to unlimited texting this morning. I switched Emma as well, who sent her sister a message about bankrupting the family with her texting.

Boy have times changed.

There's a huge problem with TXTing while driving. That's far more distracting than talking of course, but isn't prohibited by most of the laws that prohibit talking while driving.

Don't worry. All of those idiots who keep cell phones glued to their ears will eventually be coming my way. I doubt I'll be helping them...

You shouldn't drive unless everyone has flipped eyelids. :)

You could permanently damage your eyes doing that kinda stuff. At least that's what my mother would have told you.
