Bacon has a place at the table morning, noon and night. And venture beyond its natural pairings to the unusual yet sublime -- in an apple coffeecake or as a martini garnish.

I'm not gonna check it out.

Just noting that when I saw the subject line, I was sure that it would be posted by FoodDude.

But not.

Samantha Brown was serving them up in this place in Vegas on one of her shows. It may not taste bad, but it was too ugly to look at!

Pass.

I saw one episode of DD&Dives that had a whiskey that they infused with bacon. Said it gave it a smokey taste. Okay.

The alcohol will dissolve different flavor compounds than the water will. Fortunately in this case, they just let the whiskey mingle with the bacon fat for a while and then decanted the fat part.

Um, still no.
