Wah! I already placed my Amazon order this morning. Three copies of Beedle the Bard and stuff for Rain Man....

I got this too late for the Macy's Fiestaware purchase for my best friend and her husband. We find Macy's is good for that because, if they need to exchange it, they can do it at the Marshall Field's (or the Macy's in Chicago, if you must, but that's just so WRONG).

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Macy's and Fiestaware...........
We have Fiesta in the beach house because of the mix-and-match factor. It's easy to replace broken or purloined items that way. But the shop down the street closed, so it's impossible to get a replacement on the island and I have to replace the butter dish and the sugar bowl and a bunch of coffee mugs. I also need a case of wine glasses and all the Corningware either walked off this year or got broken, but I usually go to Target or somplace relatively cheap for that. But the Fiesta was going to be an issue. I forgot to check Macy's!
Plus the comforters are fading and need to be replaced. I think I'll just ask for home furnishings for Christmas! And it's tax deductible!
I can never think of anything for Christmas. I don't really want stuff......
