sploofus is stoopid

I enjoyed about 15 minutes in top 100 this morning.

I was 18 when I logged off. This a.m. I am 381. Fun ride.


On a side note, they did give me credit for guessing "Central High Little Rock" a coupla days ago. Although, I did have to complain. The "winner" had written Little Rock Central High.

Sploofus was not quite so stoopid this time.

Standings early in the month have major fluctuations. You can go from well into the thousands up to the low 100s with a single answer sometimes. Then by the end of the day, you're back into the thousands. I was happy enough being at #103 after yesterday's success. Too slow in double-checking what seemed to be a way too obvious answer.

I finally got on the board this morning.... with a Vocabulary question of all things.....

Amazingly, Sploofus says Vocab is my most successful category, which I find hard to believe because I cringe everytime I see it pop up....

Last month's Sploofusing was horrible. It was my worst month since I started.

I was thrilled to be #236 yesterday. I'm probably about 1,892 by now.

I don't remember it being one of the choices. The answer they gave was S. Africa

Nah, Australia still wasn't number one. So I was still wrong.

How ever, if I had said S. Sfrica I would have been both right and wrong!

They seem to want to have the answers correct.

They were really nice when I explained that I encountered a problem one night when I didn't even get to see the Q before they said I timed out. I sent an email and they gave me a bonus Q. I got it wrong, but it was nice of them.

I would email them. Twice I have correctly answered Where In The Heck Am I? and was not given credit. Both times they apologized and gave me the points--if not the glory.

Played tonight and got it. Went from #1,096 to #10. Heckuva jump.
