So now I need a PDA

Maybe we shouldn't have upgraded the computer after all, or at least not above 32-bit. Now I find that Palm does not support 64-bit Windows OS of any sort for their Desktop software. My Zire has become a standalone with no backup.
Are there any good PDAs out there that don't come as part of a cellphone? Are there any good cellphones (Verizon compatible) with PDA software? Should I just get an iPod Touch for myself as well as GW and SIL?
[Insert cuss-out of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs here, with additional evil words aimed towards the Palm Company's PTB.]

I can highly recommend a Mecca notebook and a quality No. 2 Ticonderoga.
But since you've missed the BTS sale, it's going to run you a quarter instead of a nickel for the data surface. The input device I get by the case at Costco.

Why blame Gates or Jobs? It's Palm's fault for not writing the driver.
I'd buy a ASUS A626 for a non-phone PDA or the Pharos 600E GPS Phone.

I see "PDA" and still think "Public Display of Affection."
If you need one of those, I'm not sure I can help.
