Georgia votes

I voted this morning in the U.S. Senate runoff election. There was no one at the polls.
The most recent polling data showed Chambliss at 50%, Martin at 46% and undecided at 4%.

The choice is between an incompetent and the devil-incarnate. I voted for the incompetent.

Oklahoma has a politician that I used to think of as the devil incarnate.

Then I realized that if he actually were the devil incarnate, he'd be much better looking.

If you've been watching the last two months of TV commercials, you'd think both of them were the devil incarnate. This is as nasty an election campaign as I've ever seen and it's gone on twice as long as any others due to the runoff.

The problem with polling for this election is that it is very difficult to gauge who is going to show up.

I don't know if Saxby Chambliss is a devil-incarnate, but one title that I can definitely give him (aside from "sleazy propagandist" or "coward") is "creep". Keep an eye on Chambliss' right hand in this video. Where I come from, this is called "Honey, show the nice social services worker on this doll where he touched you":

I meant that the politician would be better looking than he is or ever has been.

ES is quite handsome, for a squirrel.

Wow, is that for real, or did someone do a little creative editing?

Gotta be. That would never make it past the campaign or the television folkses.

No editing here; this was the actual ad that was broadcast in Georgia endlessly. When I saw it for the first time I thought, "how did that slip through?"

Then I agree with Nelly -- he's creepy.

"The Daily Show" and Jon Stewart had a field day with that ad last night. Absolutely hysterical.

By the way, the devil-incarnate won.

Now I'm wondering about the "two new grandbabies on the way".

I'm so twisted and evil, I know.........
