The Radio City extravaganza was everything that it was billed to be. It included elements of The Nutcracker, Miracle on 34th Street, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and a life Nativity play (including sheep and camels), as well as a history lesson (the origin of the Rockettes), music, and, of course, dancing. A good time was had by all.
On Sunday evening our church held its annual "Hanging of the Green" worship service. Our sanctuary choir (of which I am a member) sang, the sanctuary was decorated with greenery and we lit our Chrismon tree. We also distributed our Advent meditation booklet, with daily devotionals written by members of our church, with photographs of the Chrismons taken by a church member. It's available online at our church's Web site in case you might be interested.

This morning the weather has taken a turn for the worse, with snow showers and "light accumulation" expected for the day.
