Scary!

This morning I was walking Zap. It's cold (below 60 degrees) and foggy, so when I took him out, I put him in his Halloween Costume. (He peed on his coat yesterday and it hadn't made it's way through the laundry when it was time to walk, but I don't like to take him in the cold without a jacket.)
So as we were walking, we went by a park area that's in my tract. All of a sudden through the mist, I see this giant black dog running at us through the mist. The dog, a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix weighed over 100 pounds. He barked as he was running, Zap started whining, so I threw my body around Zap's and yelled "No!" The dog's owner comes running after him yelling, "he's a good dog..." Zap is normally afraid of big dogs because he was the victim of a pack attach at Hemopet.
Anyway, the own of the large dog puts his collar and leash on him and tells me over and over again how friendly her dog, Bongo, is. Bongo and Zap started sniffing each others butts and wieners and started standing next to each other as we talked. We said our goodbyes and Zap left the incident with a confident bounce in his walk.
