Musical Legends of Each Decade

Apparently, the dance studio where my kids study and my wife teaches has decided on the following theme for the year-end recital: Legends

Each teacher was assigned a decade (1920s to 2000s) and asked to think of a few "musical legends" from that decade. My wife is doing the 1980s, but we also are helping out on other decades.

I thought that this is a task that is perfect for the brillant, artistic BBs here.

Some of the artists already are selected, in that there are company dances to music by Prince, Doris Day, and several contemporary artists.

For the 1930s, Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of Paris. The music is great dance music, too!
