Happy Birthday!

#1 Post by WheresFanny » Sun Nov 23, 2008 8:29 am

To Thomas Tallis!!!1

Who I don't think was actually gay, no matter what Showtime has to say about it.
Oh, I almost forgot.....
And, of course, to anybody else who might happen to share a birthday with him.
We, the HK Brigade, do hereby salute you, Marley, for your steadfast devotion to ontopicosity. Well done, sir!

I think this guy shares a birthday with him.....
I'll bet he misses the place....

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Alas, today is not big Tom's birthday, rather, it is that 423rd anniversary of the day he died. A sad day, indeed.

When I die, I want 40 people to stand around my pyre, singing the Spem in Alium.
Innocent, naive and whimsical. And somewhat footloose and fancy-free.

I'm dyslexic, leave me alone.

Although, it kind of was his birthday, in an existential sort of way. Ha!

I'm not sure I can do the Spem in Alium by memory for you. Could you hum a few bars to get me started?

Come on, Fan! I'll be humming that tune all night now. 8) Spem in Alium was written for a 40 part motet.

So what's your hold up, Kiki? All we need to do is round up 38 more people and it's on like Donkey Kong!
