I ducked out for what I thought would be just a couple minutes to watch a segment of the Colorado news I was interested in. The couch grabbed me and didn't let me go for a long time, when I had long ping timeoutted, and all y'all had decamped.

I had to explain ZZ Top to my son! That was more important than chat.
A howhowhow.

ZZTop!
Yep, more important.
Girls go crazy for a sharp-dressed man.

He wanted to know if they were for real or a joke (he had wondered about KISS before...). I explained they were more for real but ready for their close-up during the video age. The beards and the furry guitars and all.
A howhowhow.

Too bad LaGrange isn't MTV era....
The Eliminator videos rocked, but you know when the first time I heard LaGrange was? On a damn pinball game at some hotel we were staying in on one of our state tournament bowling trips back in the early 90's! I think it was High Speed 2....
I had thought it was something new they had done for the game. I hadn't been exposed to 70's radio yet....

That's why they were more for real. Those videos for Legs and the others showed how well they could adapt to the New World in music.
I was the girl who lived on the hill. My sister...
