Speaking of Survivor

We were, weren't we?

Have caught up on the shows missed while actually in Africa. Quite a turn around from when I left but not sure in a good way. I suppose one has to give credit to Kenny for finally stopping his drooling at the women (Any of them apparently. It would appear he is not terribly familiar with the species...) and getting involved in the game. He has shown some real success at manipulation so far although as a video gamer perhaps that is not all that unexpected once he got used to the idea of actually being around women, or at least women recognizable as such. But in addition to the nature of his almost petty at times manipulations he actually kind of looks like a rat.

Of the unpleasant rag tag group that is left about the only one I will miss is Bob. He would be my choice but I doubt he has much chance despite doing the only thing he could and playing along with the joke on Randy. Just can't figure out why he told Sugar he had made the fake idol in the first place. But he did a great job making it and has perhaps been the most interesting player in the game this season. Perhaps I relate to him more becuase I am a science nerd too. And closer to his age than most of the numbnuts left in the game.

Depending on who is left in this sorry bunch it would be hard for me to pick a winner after Bob goes.

Last night was the best show of the season. Like Trish, we laughed so hard we cried. It's nice to see someone as disgusting as Randy get his due. Loved Sugar's good-bye to him, did she miss any bad names to call him? Plus Trish was right, Crystal was a hoot with her good-bye, talking so loud even Randy had to smile.

Like you, I really like Bob, I think it's the one old codger to another with me however. At first I was really turned off by Sugar, she has grown on me each week and has proven she is not just another dumb blonde, so I would not be upset if she won it all.

I think Bob told Sugar about the idol he made trying to coax her into confessing that she had the hidden idol, he figured she had it because it was not there when he went looking. His confession helped Sugar plan the attack on Randy, which was the best thing to come out of Survivor in a while.

I'm anxious to see what happens next week, the clip of the preview with Bob telling Corrine that Marcus did not let the hidden idol float away into the ocean but instead stuck it in his pants pocket and then hid it at camp, interesting. I for one don't believe it. For one the producers could not have resisted showing America Marcus hiding the idol. It seems they have cooked up another "trick" for Corrine, just can't figure out why since the odds are so against her.

It has been said before, and it will be said again, but last night...
Best..Tribal...Council...Ever!!

That's what you get for worshipping to false idols.

Everyone thinking that they had pulled a fast one on the rest of the tribe and the anticipation of the denouement was delicious stuff.
Crystal's voting booth scene was the funniest moment from the show I've seen in a long time.

This season sure had/has its share of jerks. Ace, Randy, Corinne..frankly I can't stomach Crystal either. That smirk of hers gets on my last nerve. And she either is deliberately downplaying her athletisism or she is the most uncoordinated former Olympic athlete ever. What was her event, 5,000 meter bitching? She's had a crabby/occasionally drifting into psychobitch 'tude from Day 1. And Kenny has developed from merely gaining confidence to thinking he is now the master manipulator of all time. Then there's Susie, who flies under the radar until it's time for her to utter another asinine observation.

Bob's cool, and I like Sugar ok. Matty I'm on the fence. Sometimes he's ok, other times he's annoying. Definitely one to watch your back around, though. The rest of 'em can go pound tar.

I loved it!

I loved them all laughing, for differeing reasons and watching the jury watch them all was beyond entertainment.

I am thinking that Bob will owrk some magic and be around a bit longer than the numbers say.
