he says while lake effect flurries are coming down outside!
But still, only a couple days next week with forecast highs in the mid-70s; the rest of the time only high 60s. I'll have to pack a few more long sleeves than I expected.

See if one of the locals will let you borrow their parka. To them, that's freezing!

It is always sunny and 85 degrees here. You must've gotten a bad forecast....
Hurry on down, the wait times are down to 4 hours per ride....

Hoo boy! And you've got all those engineers who've made sure the waiting time will be fun!
The hotel pools better be heated, is all I'm saying...

I know they are at some resorts. Where are you staying?

Port Orleans Riverside.

Sting and I were there during the OJ trial opening statements. It was close to freezing that day.

I know the one at French Quarter is, but not WHEN they start the heat. We went in mid-December when we stayed there.
As far as Riverside goes, get ground-floor. They have no elevators! I couldn't stay there alone with Erin because of the stroller/stairs issue.

We requested the Alligator Bayou section, near the food court. Didn't say anything about the ground floor.
MarleysSister was obsessing over all the little details. If we get a room that's close to the food court
and the pools
and the bus stops but not too near any noisy roads, everything will be fine.

You will still think it's warm!
I went one January and it was in the high 50's...those workers were wearing wool coats and scarves and gloves and I was in short sleeves!!!

If you pack a lot of heavy clothes you won't have room for your laptop.

Ya think?
The reason it's been snowing this week is so I'll appreciate the trip to Florida more! There'd be no point in going if it was still getting up to 60 like it was last week.
The lake effect is supposed to be light--1 to 2 inches of snow predicted tonight--but I'll have to start driving before dawn to get to Syracuse for my 7:15 am flight. Especially if, like this morning, there's a multi-car accident that shuts down Rt. 81. It might get
interesting.

Yeah, it was like that when I went down there in January 2006 for the Walk In And Win taping.

I don't even have a laptop! (That's not counting the vintage 1993 one with a broken display that I still haven't discarded.) Like I said yesterday, I plan to stay completely off-line during the vacation!
Keep track of any important stuff among gratuitousness for me, okay?

Now that Play-it! is gone, what do you want to go to WDW for?

I'm going to join MarleysSister, BIL and Nephew, who are flying in from California. They won't be making that trip often.
