The line to participate this year's 8th Annual Merry Man Parade, sponsored by Eyegor's Emporium is currently formingunder the WGAS broadcast tower. The parade will commence on November 26th @ 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time, or somewhere thereabout.
Has a parade ever started on time?

I think the early ones did. They were already going by the time I got home from work....
_TPTB_ had to start it up one year....
