The huge sigh of relief.

#1 Post by Tocqueville3 » Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:38 am

I am sighing the huge sigh of relief. The Elijah has been postponed until August. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders! :D

Our minister of music was a tad worried that some of the men wouldn't be sharp enough. He should have known that doing the Eiljah so close to the lessons and carols would make us pressed for time. Sometimes, he thinks we can take on more than we're capable of. He loses sight of the fact that we are normal people wtih kids and jobs and all that other stuff. He's got wicked talent, though.

This will give me waaaaaay more time to prepare and fine tune. I think if we had done it in February I would have just been able to "get it done". Now, I feel like I can really have enough time to fine tune the part and put my flair on it.

And, I can find a great dress and fabu shoes. 8)

Is there the need for any professional lounge singing in Elijah? I may be available for a few days in August....

You're available 24/7 for obvious reasons.
