WWTBAM Bored

I need some aiding and abetting this morning! And not just because Kay's gonna be gone for a few days.....

Kay's gone? Wah!

I popped in yesterday, but the bored was way sludgy and then my browser hit some kind of speed bump on another page and shut me down and I just figured, "Screw it" and found another time-waster........

It's called Addiction Solitaire. Aptly named.

At least Kay isn't somewhere warm and tropical where I'd have to come join her! Last night we had flurries around 6 pm when I was taking out the recycling and looking out for Rain Man coming off the activity bus, and this morning the trash cans had been knocked over by the wind and the water in the lid had ice around the edges. The forecast high is 42 here. My lucky-duck husband has a conference in San Diego so he's leaving tonight and escaping the chill..........

It's warmer here today, but it was just plain cold the last few days. The cold seems to be keeping the protesters away, so at least it's good for something....

Better get out the heavy coat and long johns. I wouldn't want you to die from hypothermia....

I have the fluffy socks and slippers instead of the flip-flops. And I wear a zip-up hoodie jacket around the house. Erin is actually wearing a dress instead of her usual run-around-in-her-undies routine. I refuse to set the thermostat higher than 68 until I see my first gas bill and figure out how the winter is going to go...
