Geez, give it a rest.
You've got 4 years to get all of your negative campaigning in. Pace yourselves.

No kidding. Maybe Eric Holder can figure out how to determine how to correctly pardon someone in that time, too. It's sort of pop-up remedial AG class. Oops! Duh, if I had the information I had now then well...
Bless all their hearts.
Change some hopes.

I find comfort in both those facts.

Welcome to NellyLunatic1980's "Sarah Palin Joke Clearinghouse"! All Palin jokes must go
now!
Her book will have an authentic bearskin cover.
Will she burn the books after they've been printed?
How long before her book heads straight to the dollar bin with all of Ann Coulter's books?
Can I get a copy of her book translated into English?
Potential titles for her book:
"Moose for Dummies"
"Lipstick Bungle"
"A Separatist Peace"
"Sarah, Plain and Dumb"
"It Takes a Village Idiot"
"As My Political Career Lay Dying"
"The Sound and the Fury of Todd's Snow Machine"
"I Am Real America (and So Can You!)"
"Field-Dressing of Dreams"
"The Bridges to Nowhere of Anchorage County" (and yes, I know that Alaska doesn't have counties)
"The Chronicles of Wasilla: The Lyin', the Witch Hunt, and the Wardrobe"
"Epic Failin' Palin"
"Mavericky McMaverickson: The Maverick"
"In This Respect, Charlie"
"You Betcha, Doggone It!"
"90 Days, 90 Outfits"
"Other Things God Told Me"
"Word Salad: Republican Beach Party"
"Restoring America's Pride, One Meth Lab at a Time"
"They Asked Me to Write Book and I Said 'Thanks, But No Thanks'"
"The Ultimate Toilet Reader: A Collection of Huntin' Jokes, Naughty Limericks, and Other Stuff To Read While You Poop"
"Did I Mention I'm a Hockey Mom?"

Larry Sabato said don't even waste a nickel betting on her being the nominee in 2012. Ain't gonna happen. So we'll just take the couple months of entertaining cheap shots for our comedy routines while we can. Obama is pretty boring. Biden, however, will be a Godsend....

And would have caused McCain to lose by 12 points, not 6.7

Exit polls showed that voters who said Palin influenced their votes favored McCain by ten points over Obama. So she did cost him some votes among Hillary supporters but she gained far more, with Hillary supporters and with conservatives.
With Bush's general unpopularity and the economic crisis imploding six weeks before the election, Ronald Reagan himself couldn't have won this election. McCain/Palin was probably the best team the Republicans could have put out there in terms of overall voter appeal.
If Obama is popular in four years, you won't see people like Jindal or Crist running against him. Instead, the Republicans would put out another Bob Dole. Palin might decide to roll the dice and run then. If the Republicans think they have a real chance of winning in four years, as of now I think she'll be scapegoated for the their failings this year.

I'm surprised no one has made a Bill Clinton pop-up-book joke yet. Then again, I'm not sure anyone would want to see exactly what would "pop up" in such a book.
(Just trying to make things bipartisan...)

I've read that his pop's left. That would make designing the book an opportunity in engineering.

Maybe he could co-write it with Bob Dole.

Whenever I hear the town name 'Wasilla' I can't help but hearing the Harry Belfonte 'Matilda' (or if you prefer "My Zelda" by the late, great Allan Sherman).
Wasilla.
Wasilla.
You gave us Palin to run with McCain.
I haven't had the time to work out the full song yet - but if I have to suffer with it running through my head, then I think I shouldn't have to suffer alone.

One of my potential future co-workers is from Wasilla about three jobs ago!
We're hoping she gets it.

Ah, yes, Allan Sherman...
My Zelda.
My Zelda.
My Zelda, she took the money and ran with the tailor.
My Zelda, she found her big romance
when I broke the zipper in my pants.
