Am I the only one around here who watches Chuck? GW knows not to ask me to do household stuff on Mondays, because Chuck and Heroes are on. "Buy More", the Best Buy parody, is hilarious, as are the employees who are all nerds of one type or another. Adam Baldwin is a hoot as the quintessential CIA operative. The interaction between Chuck and Sarah, his female CIA handler, is very nicely done. And the writing has almost as many hilarious throwaway lines as Gilmore Girls.

Case in point: Last night, a guest character is giving a rapid-fire description of her boss's quirk of loving puzzles and hiding passwords and secret formulas behind them. One of the items he once used for a password, as described in the midst of this diatribe, was "a random snippet of Vogon poetry". That was the sole mention of it, apparently considered obvious and left to the student as an exercise. (It's a reference from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, BTW.) If you blinked, you missed it. I didn't miss it and was ROFLMAO.

I hope it survives. These sophomore series in general aren't doing that well after their truncated premiere seasons. I could see the story premise carrying it for another few years.

As "The Intersect", Chuck has gotten more active in actual operations this year. They send him out with Sarah and Casey to "flash" on things and people in the hopes of identification. One thing I'm not sure about is how they were planning to use the computer version. It's not exactly as mobile as a person, and certainly can't make the connections as fast.

They've also gone into more background for many of the characters. We've seen Sarah as a high school geek, backstories for several of the BuyMore employees, more of the relationship between Chuck's sister and "Captain Awesome", and more of Chuck's own history from college to now. I will be most upset if it doesn't make it past this season.

No, you aren't. I watch it also, although I DVR it because elwing prefers the CBS comedy lineup (and I'm partial to "The Big Bang Theory", too).

I like Chuck, but I like the comedies on CBS and Sarah Conner more so I not watching.

I watch "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" online since the DVR can't handle three different recordings at once.

This show started out poorly, but it's gotten steadily and steadily better. I hope it's around for a long time.
