Interesting how they're turning Sylar into a good guy. I presume Elle is going to be the mother of the boy we saw in his "Mr. Mom" future?

Can Arthur Petrelli really think that his group is saving the world? And what purpose does he still have for Hiro? There must be something, or else he'd have taken Hiro's power right away, instead of just implanting the thought that Hiro was ten.

Are we ever going to see the rest of the heroes this season?

Yes to Elle and Sylar, IMO. I wonder if she's dead by that future time, which is why we didn't see her in that vignette.

Papa P. may not have saving the world in mind, just taking it over.

Hiro and Ando have become comic relief. By regressing him to age ten, Papa took away his memory of his power, not counting on Ando to show him how it's done. But if just squinching up his eyes triggers his power, Hiro had better not become constipated. :P

Who's missing, other than Micah and his cousin? Or were you expecting someone new?

I guess they're the only ones I'm thinking of. The actor who plays Micah got a lot of air time during the live premiere party; since then, he's pretty much vanished.

I have great fear that the "second eclipse makes them all lose their powers" arc will be the "jump the shark" moment. I tend to give the writers of shows like this (and Lost) the benefit of the doubt that they have a coherent arc in mind, but the past few weeks have led me to think that they are making it up as they go along.

Of course, they may just be writing the show the way I am writing my novel. I know how I want it to end, but I'm not really sure how it's going to get there.

And I guess that now it's

Sure, Claire is convinced that she's the catalyst, but if Sulu was smart, he'd have hidden the catalyst in somebody who isn't attracting attention with their powers.

My vote is for Ando! :)

Ratings for Heroes continue to plummet despite massive promotion by NBC. Last night's show was down 27-29% from the ratings from a year ago (which were well behind the first year's ratings), finishing well behind (in the 9:30 half hour) Worst Week and Samantha Who and not much above Prison Break. To put things in perspective, Heroes last night did about as well as Supernanny does on Friday nights. It is still above the other NBC shows, Chuck and the now-cancelled My Own Worst Enemy, but that's not saying much.

I can't believe NBC will bring it back another season, so they will probably wrap up the storyline at the end of this season so that they can market the DVD better.

I'm glad DVD sales give them an incentive not to just cancel shows without a conclusion.

I think it jumped the shark when Mohinder turned into Jeff Goldblum in The Fly.
