Even if you're not a Nuggets fan, you should be a Chauncey Billups fan. The three major Colorado sports teams are a combined 10-1 since his return to Denver.
It's like elk, except you know the difference between a touchdown and a field goal.peacock2121 wrote:I'm still trying to figure out sprots' ilk.
Then I like it - as I am of your ilk.SportsFan68 wrote:It's like elk, except you know the difference between a touchdown and a field goal.peacock2121 wrote:I'm still trying to figure out sprots' ilk.
And you know what putting it through the five hole means.
And what a "double-chen" is.
OK, you don't have to know what a "double-chen" is.
Elves? Really? Never heard of that one. Here's the real reason....SportsFan68 wrote:Hey! I am too a Nuggets fan!
Er. Sorta.
When do they play again?
The football folkses yesterday were giving the credit to sumguy who came in to the Broncos lineup two weeks ago. I'm perfectly happy to give all the credit to Billups. Who knows -- it's no stranger than saying that we win at Mile High because it has elves or that we lose at Arrowhead because they do too.
The Rockies won an NL pennant behind the resurgence of Kaz Matsui.....WheresFanny wrote:Elves? Really? Never heard of that one. Here's the real reason....SportsFan68 wrote:Hey! I am too a Nuggets fan!

It's the Power of Seven. Chauncey Billups took #7 because his hero growing up was John Elway (and Chauncey's old, which makes Elway.........ha!). Since that time there hasn't been a Denver athlete worthy of the Seven (it's no coincidence that the Avalanche's glory years ended when #77 retired). Now that The Seven is being used properly, the good karma will spread throughout the Can and across the highway to Mile High.

What is this "baseball" of which you speak?littlebeast13 wrote:The Rockies won an NL pennant behind the resurgence of Kaz Matsui.....WheresFanny wrote:Elves? Really? Never heard of that one. Here's the real reason....SportsFan68 wrote:Hey! I am too a Nuggets fan!
