We had a busy household last night. elwing and I came home from church to find our oldest son and our grandson at the house, along with two of our other sons (one of whom is currently living with us). They were gathered because of the release of a new expansion to the popular "World of Warcraft" game which they all play; the release was at midnight and they were planning on going to pick up their reserved copies then come back to our house to play. I'm not quite sure why our place was chosen as the site for the rendezvous but our oldest said that he had come to our place so that he could play without being disturbed; with three people wanting to play and only two computers, one would be available to keep an eye on the grandson. So when I got up this morning they were still hard at it (or rather two of them were; the third was asleep, as was the grandson). I imagine that they'll still be there this evening after elwing and I get home from the fitness center.

You don't know what you're missing! :P

The episode, called "Make Love, Not Warcraft" was on last year, I believe. It may be available for on-line viewing at http://www.southparkstudios.com

The episode has the South Park kids do a marathon session of playing WoW, in order to gain enough experience points to defeat an evil player who's been killing everyone elses WoW characters. The funniest thing, which you may not appreciate, not having seen the show before, is that South Park uses a very simplistic, two-dimensional cartoon style. Well, when the kids log on to WoW, suddenly their WoW characters appear in fully detailed, state-of-the-art WoW animation! 8)

Your sons would appreciate the episode, if you don't.
