I think Hebrew Spam would be an oxymoron! Definitely not Kosher

Used to do analytical chemistry for a company that made radioactive diagnostics. The lead containers that contained the vials after adding the radioactive compound were called pigs. Tehre was one, and only one, that was painted bright green. We called it our kosher pig, something that was not like anything else.

I just got more with the subject: פתרון מושלם לכיבוד ואירוח בבית או במשרד
Translation: Llachiebood perfect solution or in the office and at home

Looks like the spammers can't speak Hebrew any better than they do English.

Like for PET scans??

All ours seem to be delivered in gunmetal-gray boxes; no bright green Kosher Pigs for us

When I schedule the PETs, I always let the patient know that "If you go somewhere like the airport or the courthouse within a day or 2 of your PET scan, where they may use a radiation detector for security purposes -- you might possibly set it off." The last paragraph of their prep letter explains this, and says "You may show this letter to the authorities, and they may call (our phone #) for further information." And I let them know that the medicine leaves the body via the kidneys (i.e, they pee it out) in a day or so.

I never heard of this actually happening till last week. I scheduled a guy for a PET scan, gave him the spiel, & his wife piped up with -- "Oh, that happened to him at the Canadian border last year!" Seems the guy had a Stress Test (different radioisotope, but similar after-effects) the day before taking a bus trip to Canada -- sure enough, his residual dose set off the detector! I never did find out if they let him in to Canada

We had to cancel today's PETs due to a huge water leak Tuesday night (the scanner itself is OK but the ceiling tiles outside the room were soaked & had to all be replaced, & the doctor's office & computers were pretty well trashed (she'll have to share with the physicists till they are dried out & fixed or replaced.) So, we decided to do a special Friday PET day tomorrow (normally only do 'em Tuesdays & Thursdays.) I'll watch out for any Kosher Pigs coming down the hall!
