Sloofus Catch up
I hadn't answered 3 Q since I was away for the weekend.
Maybe it helps to get in a zone and answer a bunch in a row.
One WAG on the heaviest wood. WTF? Guessed right.

Re: Sloofus Catch up
After a forgettable October, I picked up right where I left off in September and am 8/10 so far....
I'd be 9/10 and threatening the Top 100 if I wouldn't have gotten screwed on the 1st of the month.....

I was at 55 when I finished my answers. I know I got one wrong and it was about Lipton which I should really kick myself because I am sitting here drinking my free Lipton Earl Grey Tea.
Sheesh!
Sheesh!

I forgot that was Weasel's Q. I do remember it and think of Oil of Bergamot. The oil is also used in fragrances so it comes up on occasion here.

Re: Sloofus Catch up
I've already missed three this month, my total for all of October. Two NAC, and one where my second choice turned out to be the right one. No Double Dip here, though. Mired way back in the 2000s, pending today's attempt.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

After missing two questions in a row, I am banking questions until I feel smart again.

Is it like feeling old, fat and ugly, but different?peacock2121 wrote:How do you know when you feel smart?PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:After missing two questions in a row, I am banking questions until I feel smart again.

Old, yes. Usually when one of the icons/heroes of my youth die or reach a milestone age.peacock2121 wrote:Is it like feeling old, fat and ugly, but different?peacock2121 wrote:How do you know when you feel smart?PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:After missing two questions in a row, I am banking questions until I feel smart again.

Fat, no, despite what the BMI chart says. I haven't weighed that little since I was 18.
Ugly, never. Despite TPTB's apparent opinion.
Smart, I understand PSM's comment. There are times that just feel better than others when I go to attempt answering the Sploofus questions.
