Charlie Brown and The Steelers

Yep, Steelers' loss is all my fault -- sorry, Rexer, I'm usurping your role today!

Yesterday Leah & I went to my niece Margaret's high school production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown." Margaret, 16, played the role of Snoopy!

She was great! She had a lovely voice, and just the right combo of cuteness & sarcasm to be a perfect Snoopy (and she really rocked the house on "Suppertime" )

Well, it was a terrific performance, & we had a nice time -- also got to see Mom & my brother Tom (Margee's dad.)

Now what does this have to do w/ the Steelers? Well, we decided to dress up a little -- yinz do know my wardrobe choices affect the team's performance, right? Although I did wear black slacks & a black sweater, with a black & gold (but not Steelers Logo) hair scrunchie -- I didn't wear any of my Steeler gear. Niether did Leah.

And when we left the house, we were running late -- so I forgot to turn on the Giant Inflatable Steeler Snow Globe on my porch (sorry, can't post a pic right now from work.) So -- not only did I wear the wrong clothes, but the Snow Globe couldn't do its magic! We didn't get home until late in the 3rd quarter, & I didn't even think about the Snow Globe till the game was over (actually, I laid down on the couch & took a little nap!)

Sorry!!!

Should I go bang my head against a tree now? :P

You should bang your head against a tree anyway. It loosens the bark and allows it to grow, doncha know? :)

Yes, we learned that yesterday! Isn't that how little elms grow into great oaks?

That's what I thought this thread was going to be about- Ben Roethlisbeger's Charlie Brownish-type performance.
