Sunday in New York

So I finally had a day off with no schoolwork and no responsibilities so i of course stayed home and watched my New York sports and here's what I saw:
-The Red Bulls pulling off a miraculous upset and advancing to the semifinals in the MLS against all odds
-A New York Knicks game that was actually enjoyable to watch, something that hasn't happened in about 5 years. They beat the previously undefeated Utah Jazz.
-And finally the New York Giants taking down nemesis Philadelphia to go to 8-1
Meanwhile, the Rangers are atop the East Conference in the NHL and the Yankees finally got rid of Carl Pavano! It's a good time to be a New York sports fan right now. You may all be jealous...

After careful consideration, I've decided against submitting Proposition Clem for placement on the ballot of the next Board Elections.
Being forced, for no other reason than the circumstances of one's geographical location, to be a Knickerbocker fan is punishment enough.

Whenever I say so. Because I am the Queen of Everything.
PS I didn't intentionally misspell your team name just to be smartass, it was an actual error.

Btw, who is Rube Baker? And why is he quoting Billy Ocean?

Or who is Billy Ocean and why is he quoting Rube Baker?
Besides, read it more carefully, he's not quoting anyone...
(But at least I'm willing to google your name)

PS You will learn as you go along that I don't google much. It's disinterest combined with laziness multiplied by the knowledge that if I just ask a question there's going to be one or more Googlehounds dying to show off their knowledge.

Wow, I've never heard that one before! You're funny. Ha!
I should also note that I'm not joking. Well, I'm joking about the condition, but not joking about me having it. Possibly due to pre-natal trauma, possibly just because.

That's funnier than you know, I'm the best mirror-writer since da Vinci (in longhand, no less!). I can also invert names, addresses and such in my head and say them backwards. I used to do both of those things as parlour tricks. Yes, my friends and family are easily amused. Ha!
Wow, I guess I really am 'messed up'. There goes Proposition Clem.....

I should have known once I said this that you would withhold information just to see how long it would be before I caved and actually LOOKED IT UP.
Okay, okay, you win!
Now it's apparent why I had no clue. Because Major League was a good movie and sequels always suck, so I never bothered with the second one. Give me a Willie Mays Hayes quote, I'll know what you're talking about!

Yes!
You read my intentions correctly
I google not to show off but because I like to learn new things. I know who Billy Ocean is now. I even found out a lot about JJ Cale.
In this odd instance the sequel is, in my opinion, even better than the first movie. If you've yet to see it I highly recommend it.
