Because you can't just pick the biggest favorite. You did leave it sorta close this week.

You shoulda picked Baltimore. They won easily. VERY easily.

Maybe because you think the "favourite" should win. Just because someone is favored by 13 points is no different than a team being favored by 2 points. Spreads are only there for betting, not telling you the team that will win.
