For those of you who love suspense/action books, this will be right up your alley.

My favorite is one of his King/Maxwell books - Hour Game
It's just really piqued my interest which is impressive b/c I read mostly non-fiction nowadays.
And if you really like Baldacci, you should definitely look into Vince Flynn's books which are similar and some would say better...

He went to my law school, he'd show up around Charlottesville on occasion, usually for a book signing.

Is he the one who wrote the book (the name of which I can't recall) that was made into a movie with Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and E.G. Marshall?
Eastwood was a thief that broke into Marshall's house and was trapped in a vault when Hackman, as the POTUS, showed up with Marshall's wife and ended up killilng her?

Yeah, that's the one. I read the book, which I enjoyed, then saw the movie.
They were sure different - I suppose because since Eastwood was the star they couldn't kill of fhis character midway through the movie; in the book the protagonist was the thief's niece.
