Have you ever heard of a phone that has an answering system where you can set a message for a specific
caller? That is, if the answering machine "sees" a specific phone number coming in it will play a specific
recorded message intended for that caller? Just curious if you have ever seen something like this.

I haven't, but I'm sure they exist.

After all, you can set your cell phone to ring differently depending on who's calling you.

The principle for sending a unique message for a phone number would be the same.

Just software that runs on a PC and acts as an answering machine.
