Thank goodness for my college roommate/PAF from NC as she got the entire show today and was already making a DVD of the week and the conclusion in a couple of weeks. She will mail me this week early so I have it for the viewing party on Nov. 24. Now THERE is an upside to being moved two weeks! There is plenty of time to make sure it arrives, or to replace it if it doesn't.
Winnamill, I caught your show on Friday - you did a fantastic job, and looked very cute! I DO remember you from the Jackson audition (I was the "no way" shrieker). We sat near each other waiting to hear if we passed the tests, and then you were sitting on the sofa in front of the window in the lobby, with the group filling out their questionnaires, right? At the beginning of your show I was wondering if that was the same pink jacket, and low and behold you ended up talking about it with Meredith- too funny. I sure hope it did bring you further good fortune!
What I'm wondering now is, 1. You seemed to breeze through the beginning questions, but is it a tense vibe now having to deal with TDC? (the damn clock)? 2. They introed Ken Jennings as your ATE, but now since you're carrying over to another week, who was your new ATE? 3. If Madamemeisha
isn't on a specialty show, I wonder why they put hers in between your airings?
Also, I always thought the questions were all random, but they seem to throw in a few questions tailored to the contestants' background... has anyone else noticed this trend? (With you there were the Phys Ed and author ones, with Frogman there was baby names, etc...
Anyway, it seems that several others from the Rancheria audition have made it on the show and while I'm not one of them, I'm so very happy for all who did! And especially you, who persevered for so long. Remind us when your second half is about to air, can't wait to see the outcome!
