That was my conclusion, too. And needing all 4 lifelines to get to $8,000 certainly supports that hypothesis.
I do give her credit, though, for taking a shot at the $16,000 question.

As I recall, "Hill Street Blues" and "Mannix" did not have very long runs--probably six years for each. I know that "Hawaii Five-O" premiered in the late '60s and went off the air around the year that I was born (1980). Pretty easy choice for me--C, final answer.

I got the impression that she passed the first test (at least). Nevertheless, it's refreshing to find a contestant who actually wanted to be on the show and made multiple attempts.

I guessed this one, but had I been in the Hot Seat I'd have gone with Double Dip and made C and D my choices.
