WWTBAM Bored

After getting screwed by a disappearing green dot on the 1st, which I didn't figure would matter in the long run... I have now got the next 4 Q's right, including one of my fastest times ever this morning, which has put me in (for now) 339th place.

If I add in the 1100 or so points I'd have gotten had I not got jipted on the first question of the month, I might actually be on the first page for the first time ever!!!!!

Same here, though I learned a potentially high level factoid in the process (probably lower mid-level on the British 'BAM). Got two questions correct this AM from home while I waited for another roofing guy to arrive. Mired in the 800s somewhere at that point. We'll see how the rest of the month goes.

My second mistake was stupid.

Basically the question asked the name of Socrates' pupil.

I have a way of remembering that

S-P-A-A.

Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Alexander the Great.

I clicked on Aristotle. As I was doing it, I realized what an idiot I was, but it was too late.

Just nailed another gimme, and am, for one brief moment, in 150th place.

I'd be in the Top 20 if I wouldn't have gotten screwed out of the first question......
