Udall wins handily and 48 gets resoundingly squashed like the bug it was, I'm happy about Colorado right now!
I know there are lots of other things going on as well, but those were the two in which I had the greatest interest.

Re: Sprots!
I am still watching local propositions.
It looks like Farm Animals and Veterans will be treated more humanely, but the status of Gay Marriage and Parental Notification are still up in the air.

I was shocked when Arizona said no to gay marriage, although I guess I shouldn't have been since I got two different flyers on my door from the Republican Party who thought it was very important that McCain wasn't for that nonsense.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I am still watching local propositions.

I don't why it shocks me whenever gay marriage gets shot down, but it always does.

Those two were must win.
I would have liked 58 and 59, but we'll move along without them.
Thank you, Colorado! Three to one stomping 48 flat!

And that was the most important part, that it go down hard. I never was really that worried that it could possibly pass (but, then again, I never thought Amendment 2 could pass, so there was a little part that was petrified), but it needed to not just be defeated, but be blown out of the water.SportsFan68 wrote:Thank you, Colorado! The biggest victory was the message that was sent.

Agreed. I'm happy with 55/45 in South Dakota; I think that was the best possible outcome.WheresFanny wrote:And that was the most important part, that it go down hard.
