Well, you do realize that this was just an attempt by oil companies to lull folks into voting Republican. Prices will likely spike up a dollar/gallon by the end of the week.

Doesn't matter to me...they never went down that low in CT!

Speak to your legislators. As Wintergreen might say, send them a stern e-mail. The last time I looked it up, Connecticut had the second-highest gasoline taxes in the country, behind only California.

That's cheap! Our gas is around $2.69 a gallon.
