Resigning effective the end of the season.
Unless the Vols win their last three games against Wyoming, Vanderbilt and Kentucky, they won't go to a bowl game.
Auburn is in almost the same boat. They have to beat either Georgia or Alabama (plus Tenn-Martin) to go to a bowl game.

So Ball State is undefeated, Vandy is likely going to their first bowl game since the destruction of the Second Death Star, but Tennessee, Auburn AND Michigan are all staying home for the holidays?

Nebraska's record of 35 straight bowl games stands for a bit longer. (FSU needs to tank fairly soon, as they are nearing 30 seasons right now.)

Well, they certainly don't deserve to go anywhere.
If this doesn't turnaround within a few years, the crown for all-time most wins will be at risk. I'm fearful that the downturn could be as brutal as it has been for Michigan's hoops program.
