This year's Florida/Ohio

I know I focused on Virginia late last week, and if Senator McCain doesn't flip it back, it's all over (I don't believe in the Pennsylvania tactic).
However, if McCain wins Virginia, I think the race comes down to:
Colorado
State polls show it tightening, and there's a chance McCain could get it back.
There's a scenario in which we get an Electoral College tie, but i believe if McCain wins Colorado, he will also pull out Nevada, so that will avoid the tie.

I was messing with the AOL electoral college calculator this morning. If Obama gets Washington, Hawaii, Oregon, California, Florida, Wisconson, Michigan, Illinois, the Northeast, including PA and MD and McCain gets all of the rest, then it's a tie at 269 votes.
If Ohio goes to Obama and PA goes to McCain, then McCain wins.

I'm curious as to how Obama's comments about bankrupting the coal industry will play in OH, WV, VA, and especially PA. Since PA doesn't have early voting, everyone got a chance to hear this.

He said something today? All I'm aware of him saying anything about coal was last winter.

It doesn't matter when he said it. It matters when it got widely reported and picked up by the McCain campaign, which is in the last couple of days.

Yeah, but who's listening to them except McCain voters?

Maybe, sss, because the San Francisco Chronicle has already debunked the RNC and Drudge's take on it.

As far as it playing in Pennsylvania or Ohio, I think the Mine Workers' rapid response takes care of that.

You'd think it would matter that he didn't actually...you know...SAY he was out to bankrupt the coal industry.

My intention is to be asleep by 10:00PM knowing who the next president is.
