has not been discussed here recently.

It did last longer than an American Presidential campaign, but not by that much.

True, there haven't been enough world history questions on SyndieBAM, lately. That's probably because thw question writers can't come up with a cutesy topic name for it.

There's usually one in every 5th Grader stack, though! :wink:

I read Harrison Salisbury's The 900 Days when I was in high school. It's a detailed examination of the siege from both sides.
