Yesterday I was skimming through the Pottery Barn and saw this peacock Xmas ornament.

They also have this votive holder:

Once again, we see what difficulties certain nations are having with simply making international transfers of money.

Perhaps the Wall Street banks ought to provide a solution for this, now that the subprime mortgage/CDO business had dried up.


And PSM, that peacock votive candle holder is wonderful. I know what pea is adding to her Christmas list!

This one, not so much. The votives ruin the visual of the peacock.

So, I was mistaken.

Perhaps if they used a mixture of colored votives and you saw it with the candles burning?
