Nostalgia (and shades of Billy Crystal)

I get lots of e-mails from travel companies, most of which I scan quickly and delete promptly. Today, one of them had a line buried halfway down that I was compelled to click. This took me to a site where I needed to read every page and look at every photo in the gallery.
It offers stays of one week (or multiples thereof) at a working cattle and guest ranch near the Pathfinder Reservoir in Wyoming. As a kid, I spent weeks every summer in that area, because the grandfather of one of my best friends was the supervisor of the dam at Lake Alcova. The air was clearer and the stars were brighter than anywhere else I ever have been. I also loved horses in those days, looking forward to Girl Scout camp for the chance to ride every day and to nearly weekly rides for the rest of the summer at the local horse rental stable.
The price, which covers all meals and private lodging, is not outrageous and, surprisingly, the "single supplement" is negligible compared to most packaged tours and cruises. I am sorely tempted to sign up for next summer.
Here's the place that fascinates me: http://www.buckingsranch.com
Is anybody else ready to cowboy up?
