The Extreme Makeover people just beat out the weather - it went from being in the 60s most of the week to the 30s overnight and only the low 40s today, along with rain.

My boss informed me yesterday that he's in the process of revising my job description, with the goal of making sure that I get to keep my current grade after much of the IT part of my job is removed by the new "most efficient organization". I haven't much of a clue as to what will be involved, though there have been hints that I may play a bigger role in the oversight of the district's purchase card program. That will require training since I've not even used one, much less know the regulations governing their use.

Hopefully more money will come with the greater responsibility.

I doubt it will be more responsibility, just different responsibility. I've pretty much reached the level of my incompetence - to go higher would require moving into other areas of contracting that I have no interest in doing.
