Good one Bob. My line (this past Tuesday) looked a lot like this, except there was a wheelchair user in the mix.

It took me only about 20 minutes, but others' experience varied widely.

fivethirtyeight.com reports that about two-thirds of the votes in Colorado and at least 55% of the votes in New Mexico have already been cast.

I, on the other hand, will rise at the crack of dawn to get to my polling place for as short a line as there will be all day.

New York is a backward state, in many ways.

Whaddya mean, New York is backward?!

I believe it's illegal to set up Christmas decorations here in NY before Nov. 1.

You also can't display winter clothes in stores until Aug. 15.

Our post offices also aren't required to deliver any magazines claiming Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus or Angelina Jolie is pregnant, getting implants, breaking up or getting married.

I wonder how much of that had to do with the local Nashville weekly recently publishing the names and addresses of those who failed to vote in the last election. --Bob
