Pre-call psych-up thread

#1 Post by AlphaDummy » Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:15 am

Got "Sirius" playing in the background (thanks, Appa, for the idea).

Alan Shepard's prayer has been duly passed along.

Coke count at three. But a very slow three, thus far.

And, right now, vibing for Clem, Slam and SC - as well as Rafferty Barnes, and all unnamed PAFs on both teams - as everybody waits.

Let's kick some Thursday butt.

AD, are you a PAF for Rafferty Barnes? --Bob

As frightening as I find that, "some" would likely find it even more terrifying...

Right now is about the last moment I would choose to have to wipe Coke off my monitor screen.

(Thanks. I needed that.)

This is quite a concatenation of BBs - Shade, Clem and Rafferty all within a short space of one another. How exciting!

Four.

And I am putting some of the excess energy to use right now. The area surrounding my desk is a pigsty...this is a Golden Opportunity to do some houscleaning (without throwing away that might be of PAF value).

I just wish I could move the whole operation outdoors today, though...we are supposed to get up to a sunny 65 here...

No Way!!!! I protest!!!!!

I insist you freeze if we're getting about 65 here, at best. What's the point of paying extra for AC if you don't have pay extra for heat in return!!!!!

We did the "damn-it's-cold" thing this past weekend. One more round of reasonably nice weather up here for the next few days before, I am sure, a Return to Crap.

Of course, I will probably be spending a goodly amount of time Sunday patching the roof and cutting up an old tree that was blown down this past weekend. I was hoping for a shot at the hammock...

Yeah - when I was on the show there were two BBs (quasi-BBs at least) who were there the same day. Both of them taped the first of the two shows that were done that day and one of them won $250,000.

Okay, you plan dinner and assemble and wash if necessary a Little League uniform and make 1600 phone calls, and I'll sit around listening to the radio and screening my calls..... :P
