Boonie won't be able to paint the back door today

BECAUSE IT'S !@#$!@#%!#@ SNOWING.
Kathy Orr, meteorlogist from Channel 3, said on the radio this morning (calling into the sports talk to discuss last night) that there would be snow in the Poconos today and possible flurries.
This isn't flurries.
It's more than flurries.
There will be no baseball tonight.
AND, tomorrow is Senator Obama's paid TV time.
So the game won't start earlier then, either. Of course, neither would have Game 6 in Tampa.

154 games in a season.
Two divisions per league.
Division winners play a 7-game series to go to the World Series.
Season ends in early October.
None of the above will happen.

P.S. Isn't it too cold to be painting outside anyway, precipitation or not? The typical minimum temperature is 50F.

Serious good sticking snow? For reals?
Erin dragged out her hat with the snowflakes and wanted her scarf (I bet it's in the toy box). We haven't had snow since she was about 3 months old and she's dying for some. There were a few flurries mixed in just north of here last night, but the whole system moved out so all we have is wind right now.

Doesn't distribute enough "wealth" from the fans to MLB & associated entities

See above

Doesn't keep MLB in front of sports fans' minds

This is true, and is a shame.

We can never wait until the humidity is low enough to paint under optimal conditions. That said, maybe the guys shouldn't have painted the trim on the pool house while it was raining, but they wanted to finish the job so they could get paid...

The back door leads to the enclosed porch.
Under normal circumstances, a crisp, fall day, it would be over 50F and he could get it done, leaving the door open to dry.
The rec room door to the laundry room (where the back door is) would be closed so the house wouldn't get cold and the back door would be dry by the time he had to close it.
Edited to add:
Boonie wasn't going to be able paint the door in the rain, either, of course.
I am still peeved about last night and needed a reason (what?! Another one!?) to vent about the snow.

You've got to bring Erin up north this winter instead of running to Disney World like you always do.
There won't be any snow down there!

Too early for snow! Long Island got rain and wind.
I was hoping the series would be over before the night that Obama's infomercial pushes the game later. At least they'll be starting in the 6th inning.
The postponement due to Obama's informercial had one possibly intended effect. I was thinking "Isn't Wednesday the night of the Presidental address?"
