GW and I used to love solving computer puzzle games, such as Myst, Riddle of the Sphinx, King's Quest, and so on. That was before the children took over our lives entirely. Now that the nest is empty again, and with the newly acquired Alfred, we are thinking of going back to them. We have been out of the market for so long that we have no idea what there is out there or how to find that type of game again.

Any suggestions for that style of game? Mainly search for clues and problem solving, but some action is allowed. I spent many a quarter in the past proving just how bad I am at arcade-style games, but could usually handle the limited action and fighting necessary for these games.

Fantastic Contraption
Bloxorz
Sprout

Since I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 I don't get computer games for my PC anymore, but just checked and found that The Orange Box by Electronic Arts is available in a PC version. That includes Half-Life, Half-Life Episode Two, Team Fortress, and Portal. That's my recent favorite. You don't have to be a video game player to enjoy ir.

That should keep you busy for a while.
