...I guess it's only fitting that the officials help the Eagles.

~3:00 left, Atlanta down by 6, no timeouts, they force the Eagles to punt.

And the officials call the punt a muff by the Falcons when the ball didn't even come CLOSE to hitting the Falcons' returner.

Eagles go on to ice the game with a Westbrook TD.

The officiating in the NFL this year has been AWFUL. This play was, to me, as plain as day.

But I suppose you can blame the Falcons for burning their timeouts before the 2-minute warning.

You should always save one timeout before 2 minutes so you can challenge if you need to.

What a horrible call!

The Falcon clearly didn't touch the ball.

But not having a time out is all on Smith.

I guess Andy Reid wasn't the only coach there today with lousy management skills.
