You feel like aiding and abetting?

My only hope of catching LB anytime soon is for Mini to take an extended
vacation.

I'm still babysitting a sick baby. Fever was 101.9 when he got
up this morning.

On thing I learned is not to give him bottle of milk when
he has a high fever.

I've changed MY clothes 2 times already, not to mention having to
redress Chapman every time.

His fever is down to about 99 right now. He won't sleep unless
I'm holding him.

I'm getting a 15 minute reprieve as Natalie stopped by and is walking
with him out by the pool.

If I don't get what he has, it will be a miracle. I have fairly
good resistance and I'm hoping it holds up this time.

Score of the KY/FL game is 63-3 Florida and there's still almost
7 minutes left in the game!

OU/KSU was close for a while, but now OU has a 20 point lead.
Still lots of time left. I'm getting very bored.

I am here!

And have decided that as long as I get the kitchen table and floor free of stuff, I have done well.

Plus I have chicken stock bubbling on the stove, laudry in, and a loaf of pumpernickle type rye bread in the bread maker.

Sorry you have to do sick baby duty. How is that anyway? Don't Grandmas get to return them when they are grumpy or sick?

:-)

I could do that, but it would be wrong.

Besides, you seem to be doing fine on your own!

Were you out for a bit today Marley?

Enjoying the fall weather?

Didn't actually leave, but I was watching this week's South Park on their web site. A lot faster without all the commercials (except for two really short ones) this way! :)

Then I sent an e-mail to a friend who left me three phone messages this morning, but didn't bother to leave his answering machine on when I returned the calls.

I slept in until 8, then went down to cashier at the Friends of the Library booksale. Very busy down there for this, its final weekend! :)

It's wet and rainy out here, so a pretty miserable weekend, otherwise. Warmer than the last few days, though...

It may be too warm for a fire tonight.

And since I am feeling very flushed in the face for the last two days, maybe a fire wouldn't help.

Rain is supposed to be here later though.

Russell has been in Mexico on a mission trip for a week. Melissa has gone to Atlanta to pick him up. His sister is also sick and is worse than he is, so I volunteered to help out with him.
They should be getting home any time now.

Don't you hate it when that happens??

His first message said he'd be busy all day, but he wanted to check on my schedule for tomorrow. I don't know why he had to call back twice after that! :P

But the Civ 4 computer game can be very addictive!

It rained all day yesterday, the first good rain we've had in
several weeks. It was also cold and windy (well, 54 is cold for us). It's sunny
and back in the 70's today.

It's 57 here, now.

Like I said, mild!

Not familiar with that game, but I was never any good at computer
games, especially if it requires coordination skills.

No, this is a strategy game, so you don't need the reflexes of a twelve-year-old. 8)

There can be a lot of micromanagement, though.

So is it a SimCity onsteroids kind of thing?

Probably not a good comparison, but.....
