On Survivor

Fang may well prove to be the worst tribe. Ever! They even tried to shake it up early with a mixing of tribes but that didn't seem to help.

Manny has the physical ability but hasn't shown much in the way of strategy. Ace is just plain annoying and will not likely last long as a result without some luck. The other three seem largely useless. Maybe Sugar can pull off the riding on coat tails trick since she isn't likely to win any challenges on her own. Ken and Crystal appear to be just one step short of completely useless.

There are going to need an implosion on the other tribe, which is certainly possible, if they have any hope of ever avoiding tribal again. Of course one can never predict the merge which might change the dynamics a bit.

They can never be the worst tribe ever.
There was a season a few years back when I was still watching the show that one tribe did not win a single immunity challenge and the merge I think consisted of 1 (maybe 2) members of the pathetic tribe. This might have been Palau...can't remember

Yes, it was Palau in season 10. But that tribe, despite their many faults, seemed at least to be relatively competitive and did not have the whiny bickering of this bunch. Perhaps time has dulled the memory a bit but so far Fang remains the worst to date for me.

I was hoping the shakeup would help, but I smell a Pagong in the air.

I don't like Randy at all. He certainly didn't need to be a Beyotch about the reward challenge win.

Crystal needs to step it up with her physical game. She is giving the impression that she is as useless in challenge as Sugar.

Hard to get to know Kota, as they haven't been losing immunity, but I don't really like Randy, Dan or Corinne.

Hard to know how much is hype and how much is true but I just don't think Kota is as tight as they appear. Of course there isn't really anyone from Fang that would likely be of much interest to a portion of Kota to recruit to an alliance. But all the yammering about Dan and his stomach and of course the antics of Randy could stir up some kind of controversy. Just maybe not in time to save any of the current Fang members.

Which may be a good thing...

As always much will depend on the merge. At 12 left it seems a bit early, that usually occurs around 10 left, but with this game you never know.

The show ends up with tribes like fang because they don't cast die hard fans. They cast based on who looks good in a bathing suit and who is already an actor or actress. They will never get another Richard, Sue, Yau man etc that makes the show so entertaining. They keep getting 20 something kids who whine.

Ok, so they go through Sugar's bag and find the idol. Why don't they steal it or is that against the rules?

I have found this season to be pretty predictable and boring, thus far. What sport did Crystal compete in? She sure tired pretty quickly in last night's reward challenge. I though she was as useless as Julie. And, once again, I have to ask, don't these people watch the show and have some idea of what they will go through? What a bunch of whiny-ass complainers. And, I agree about Randy. The gloating was uncalled for. I was surprised, however, to see Bob so competitive in the reward challenge. I don't know why Ace did not encourage more cooperation in the immunity challenge. Bad mistake on his part. I, for one, do not like it when they split up and shuffle the tribes. Just let them go to the merge as initially selected.

I wondered about this too.

I thought someone told me there was one season where someone DID steal the idol.

Certainly it couldn't be against the rules. What rules?

No rule about going through stuff, but you are not allowed to take anything from another survivor's items. So you can look through and find it, but you have to leave it there.

Thanks Saucy.

And if I was ever playing the game and found the idol in a bag, I would not steal it.
