WWTBAM Bored

At noon today (about 10 minutes from now), I'll be calling a very famous conductor to ask him questions about his autobiography, of which we are publishing the American edition. I'm a bit nervous, so I could use some good-luck vibes.

A bit of trivia: this conductor directed the New York Philharmonic longer than any other person in history.

Well, that was quick. I did talk to him -- yes, gsabc is correct -- but it turned out that something had come up. I didn't get it exactly, but it had something to do with an opera cancellation (whether a performance or a rehearsal, I'm not sure) and the approach of the Jewish sabbath. (ETA: The opera is in Israel.) So we had to move the conversation to Monday morning at 11 AM, and I hope that goes according to plan. I can still use the good vibes for this, but later. Thanks, guys.
